This is the most amazing “needle in a haystack” story I have ever heard!
The men who built this haystack have found themselves in serious legal hot water but they do deserve credit for their genius, law-breaking plan.
It is hard to believe, but three men were running an illegal cannabis farm from inside a massive haystack. Reportedly, many of the giant bales used to build the hidden farm were so big that a tractor was required to move them.
One man, Raymond Nichols, plead guilty to the production and cultivation of cannabis with the intent to supply. He is said to be suffering from cancer and was released on bail. The other two men, Martin Young and Ian Locked, were also jailed for their efforts. Young was sentenced to two years and three months and Locke three years and two months.
Take a look at their incredible operation in the photos below.
I wouldn’t mind camping or living in a room like this. It looks to be warm and cozy, but this photo is simply the beginning.
Look at all of that equipment. It is like an indoor, hay-bale, artificial green house. Think of how long it must have taken to engineer and construct this monstrosity.
Evidently, the practice of growing marijuana indoors is easier than you may think. Some say it is better, as well?
Growing marijuana indoors has many advantages over growing marijuana outdoors. In a grow room you are in control of the environmental conditions from temperature to light to humidity to CO2 levels. You can adjust ambient conditions to suit a particular strain or stage of growth. Plus, your cannabis crop is much safer from theft or discovery by the authorities if you are growing illicitly.
The site goes on to list materials that are needed with specific instructions.
I do not believe that I am going to try it out though!
