Police searched a campus in Pennsylvania after messages claimed a link to the Islamic State group.
Public safety officials with the college said Sunday that no malicious or hazardous materials were found.
The messages claimed an attack would occur at Lafayette College’s campus, where pipe bombs, pressures cookers and nail bombs had reportedly been set up, according to The Morning Call.
Lafayette College said that it was working with law enforcement agencies, including the FBI.
Law enforcement authorities, including several wearing body armor, searched the campus.
A message claimed the person was a student at the school who has been mocked and ridiculed for the individual’s faith in Islam.
The college initially asked students to stay in place, but the campus was not on lockdown.
The FBI will continue to investigate, according to safety officials with the college.
