BREAKING: Trump’s Biggest Skeptic Gives His Endorsement!

Yep, it finally happened. Wonder what pushed him off the proverbial fence?

In what may be the most visible sign yet that presumptive GOP nominee is being embraced by the party, the highest-ranking elected Republican finally just announced his official endorsement of Donald Trump.

Trump's Biggest Sceptic Gives His Endorsement!

Politico reports:

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) endorsed Donald Trump for president on Thursday in an op-ed published in his hometown newspaper.

“It’s no secret that he and I have our differences,” Ryan wrote in the Janesville Gazette. “I won’t pretend otherwise. And when I feel the need to, I’ll continue to speak my mind. But the reality is, on the issues that make up our agenda, we have more common ground than disagreement.”

Ryan, who had resisted backing the presumptive nominee, said that he was encouraged by his conversations with Trump about the policy platform the speaker plans to unveil in the coming weeks, and about the list of potential Supreme Court nominees that Trump released last month.

Some of you may still be of the mind that Donald Trump will do just fine, thankyouverymuch, without the support of the establishment many believe he threatens. I (Michelle Jesse), however, believe Ryan’s announcement today is a very important symbolic step that we as a party are coming together to do what it takes to WIN in November.

When I hear some in our party dig their heels in and continue to trash Trump — when the only viable alternative, it seems, is Hillary Clinton (possibly, Bernie Sanders) — I can’t help but think of Benjamin’s Franklin’s words:

We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.

As true today as they were when he said them more than 200 years ago.
