An unidentified woman get a close encounter with a huge Python in the fridge of the grocery store.
The unidentified woman was shopping at the Spar supermarket in Komatipoort, when she encountered the 12-foot-long Phyton.
The incident unfolded when the customer was in the dairy section and attempted to take yogurt from the fridge. She grabbed what she thought was yogurt, but instead, she was holding the head of a snake. She screamed ‘snake’ when she realised it wasn’t a dairy product she grabbed. Luckily for the customer, the cold-blooded creature was fast asleep in the chiller section.

According to the Staff that the African Rock Python could have entered the store through the roof or the drain before getting comfy in the fridge. “We have a lot of bush behind the shops and there are lots of snakes in there. We were telling people not to panic and reassuring them that it was safe,” the manager told Daily Mail.
The Local snake-catchers were called to deal with the situation. They cleared out the refrigerator until they could see the snake. The snake catcher said that the python posed no danger to shoppers as it was in a state of hibernation due to the cold temperature.
The snake catchers kept the snake under observation for 48 hours in order to allow for its organs to warm back up. He then released the snake into the Kruger National Park.
They then pulled it out and put it in a sack. According to The Sun, the creature was safely rescued and will be released into a national park.
