Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said on Twitter Saturday that the United States is funding and arming Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State.

“If you or I gave money, weapons or support to al-Qaeda or ISIS, we would be thrown in jail. Why does our gov get a free pass on this?,”

“The CIA has also been funneling weapons and money through Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and others who provide direct and indirect support to groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda.”

I wonder if she really knows how right she is.  The US had ships off the coast of Libya with 1 billion dollars worth of US arms.  This was at the same time we were blockading the ports and nothing could get through with our permission.  Half of those weapons were delivered to terrorists in Libya and it is believed that some of those weapons were used in the attack on Benghazi and in Algeria.  

So, what happened to the other half of the one billion in weapons?  As Gabbard had noted, Qatar is allied with many terrorists including the Nusra Front, formerly aligned with Al Qaeda and now acting only on their own behalf.  Obama met with the Emir of Qatar on Feb 24th 2015 in the White House.

In November 2nd of 2015, Michelle Obama visited Qatar, which is unusual since Muslims do not allow women to take part in government or much of anything else.

But, one month after meeting with the Emir, Al Nusra Front received half a billion dollars in weapons.

The weapons were delivered to a supposedly moderate bunch of rebels, who days later abandoned the weapons to the Nusra Front and then disbanded.  Nothing to see there.

Additionally, one month after the weapons were taken by the Nusra Front, Qatar agreed to accept the five terrorists released by Obama in exchange for traitor, Beau Bergdahl.  The five terrorists are free to roam and are not under any kind of containment and can speak with anyone they wish.

A real lot of coinkidinks huh?
