Now, Joy Behar has received a little piece of Karma. After endless attempts to bash President Trump on her show “The View,” Behar had to take a break on Monday. The co-host of the show found herself in the emergency room after sticking the knife into the pit of an avocado to get it out and then accidentally stabbing herself.
What’s a good snack these days without a little bit of avocado on a piece of bread.
With everyone on a health kick these days, the fleshy fruit rich in healthy fats is more popular than ever. However, in addition to the pricy cost of an avocado, fans may have one more thing they need to be worried about. The amount of injuries caused by the cutting of avocados and improper handling of the knife is on the rise. The growing number of patients in the emergency room is a result of “avocado hand”- an injury caused by a failed attempt to cut an avocado.
Reported by subjectpolitics:
Joy Behar has been a horrible and an unfair critic of President Trump.
Her daytime show ‘The View’ is her main vehicle to launch her filthy diatribes against the sitting President of the United States. Most fall flat, but the really dirty ones do find a liberal audience.
From the Washington Examiner:
Joy Behar, co-host of “The View,” confessed Tuesday that she injured her hand while cutting an avocado and was hospitalized as a result.
“Saturday night, on my way to the event at the retreat, I stabbed myself in the hand with a knife,” Behar, who was missing from Monday’s broadcast, said on “The View” Tuesday.
“I was trying to desperately eat something, so I was trying to open up an avocado and I stuck the knife into the pit to get it out … and I stabbed myself,” she said.
Behar added that her doctor said the injury was common and has been referred to as “Avocado Hand.”
“Apparently, there is a syndrome called Avocado Hand. It’s real. And the doctor said, ‘Oh, we get this all the time.’ So anytime you’re holding the item and you try to cut it, you can get this. So what happened was I guess there must have been an infection, they put me in the hospital overnight.”Behar said that she is “better” now after being on an “antibiotic drip.”
