Social justice warrior Deray McKesson had his defamation against Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro thrown out by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Robert Kalish.
IllicitInfo| McKesson’s lawyers argued that Pirro’s “loud, caustic” on-air opinions damaged the Black Lives Matter activist (opportunist?) when she had charges that McKesson’s comments had essentially “directed” violence against an injured Baton Rouge, La., police officer.
Pirro argued that she was simply expressing her opinion that the injured officer, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Nicholas Tullier, had the right to sue McKesson. Pirro had suggested that, as a public figure McKesson could be liable for the officer’s injuries.
The judge determined: “However divisive one might find the subject two-minute sequence, the law of this state protects the expressions of opinion it represents.”
Imagine the damage McKesson would have done to the left wing movement had he prevailed.
Had the thin-skinned activist eventually won this suit, what would the fallout have been for the Fake News Media that have defamed and blamed President Trump for everything imaginable, everywhere on the planet.
