Melania Trump joined with President Donald Trump Tuesday and sent a message of “unity” on the 17th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.
“A somber tribute at Flight 93 National Memorial this morning. We honor the many lost at the hands of evil on 9/11,” the first lady captioned her post on Instagram, along with a photograph of her and the president standing together at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
“It’s a time to remember the strength of this nation and the power that comes from unity, leadership & courage,” she added. “God Bless this great nation. #NeverForget.”
She and President Trump started out the day gathered with others at the White House for a moment of silence, remembering those who were killed when hijackers flew planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center buildings.
