San Jose Names Four Suspects Arrested in Connection With Riots at Trump Rally

The San Jose Police Department has been catching flack over their handling, or rather mishandling of the rioters at the Trump rally.  In response, the police department announced four arrests they did make.  (So glad to hear they did something.  The police stood by when a defenseless girl was attacked by a mob)  The names of the four suspects are Ahmed Abdirahman,  Antonio Fernandez, Robert Trillo and  Michael Kitaigorodsky.  The first three were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and the fourth was arrested for failure to disperse.  Police offered no details on the assault or what weapon was used.

The police say they are watching the tapes and trying to identify any of the thugs that were participating in the violence.  It seems to me it would have been easier if they had arrested them on the night of the riots, but I suppose that would have ruined the fun of seeing Trump supporters being assaulted.

San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia told reporters:

“The violent behavior exhibited by some protesters last night was reprehensible, completely unacceptable and unrepresentative of our democracy and our city.”

Trump criticized the mayor for failing to protect his supporters.  That lead to San Jose Mayor  Sam Liccardo to say something incredibly stupid:

“Nothing that Donald Trump says absolves those individuals of responsibility for their violent conduct last night.  It is regrettable that this has become a pattern for cities hosting Mr. Trump across the nation.”

Is it Trump’s fault that Liccardo allows the thugs in San Jose to run the city?  I think not.
