Teens Family Sues School for 4.5 Million After Janitor Rapes Their Son

A Tennessee family is suing their son’s former school district after a school janitor, 29 year old Jessica Galyon pulled their son into a room and raped him.  It is alleged that it was the first time that the boy had ever had sex.  Galyon had pursued the boy for a while and he kept refusing her advances and even turned down her invitation to meet her at a motel.  After the rape, the boy suffered as his classmates began harassing him over Galyon.  It finally got so bad the boy dropped out of school altogether.

A Tennessee boy’s family wants $4.5 million after a married female janitor allegedly sexually assaulted him during school hours.

Jessica Galyon, 29, was busted in February on charges that she pulled the 16-year-old boy into a room at Midway High School and raped him.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reports the boy’s family is now suing the school district and the contractor that employed Galyon as a janitor.

The suit alleges that the school and company were ‘negligent’ in allowing the attack to happen.

The boy dropped out of school as a result of the attack, the suit alleges.

According to court papers, Galyon aggressively courted the boy after meeting him in August, asking for his number and to ‘friend’ him on Facebook.
She began sending him ‘flirtatious and sexual messages’ even after the boy told her to stop, the suit claims.

She allegedly invited him to a hotel room, but he refused.

The suit alleges that when the boy confronted Galyon, she took him into a room and raped him during school hours.

‘This was the first ever sexual encounter of any kind that (the boy) had ever had in his life,’ the lawsuit says.

The boy’s classmates and teachers learned of the harassment and teased him by calling Galyon his ‘girlfriend,’ the suit claims.
