The White House Press Pool Noticed Something Conspicuous at Obama’s Campaign Stop in Pennsylvania

President Barack Obama delivered remarks Sunday for a Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate at a venue that was largely empty.

According to the White House pool report, Obama spoke at a basketball court that was partitioned in half with several hundred seats noticeably vacant. Moreover, the press even noticed some empty space on the floor.

A photograph posted online appeared to corroborate the report, showing plenty of empty space at the venue.

The president was in Pennsylvania campaigning for Tom Wolf, the state’s Democratic candidate for governor. According to the event manager, approximately 5,500 individuals attended Sunday’s rally.
