[VIDEOS] Chilling Video Shows Pedophile Leading Girl, 8, To Her Death

Cherish

Surveillance cameras inside a Florida Walmart shows a pedophile,  Donald Smith, luring eight year old Cherish Periwinkle out of the store and to the place where she would be raped and killed.  Cherish and her mother were in the Walmart when Smith offered to help them shop.  At some point, he ingratiated himself to Cherish and was able to get her to follow him out of the store.

Footage: Security camera footage released by the State Attorney's Office shows Cherish (in orange dress), her sisters and her mother Rayne entering the Walmart store

Shopping: Rayne (left, lifting one of her other daughters) was shopping for clothes. She recalls a man (circled) approaching and offering to help pay for clothing, but he seemed more interested in Cherish (also circled)

Cherish was murdered in 2013 and Smith was charged in her death but will just be tried for the crime sometime this year.  Like all store surveillance video. it’s difficult to make a positive ID which could explain the long delay in bringing Smith to trial. As Cherish’s mother is speaking to Smith, you can see he is not interested in what shew is saying and is fixated on Cherish.

Smith offered to buy the family burgers from the front of the store, where a McDonald’s is located.  Video shows that Smith never went into the restaurant, but headed outside with Cherish following him.  After Cherish’s disappearance, her mother called the police, telling them that she hoped he wasn’t raping or killing her.  As it turned out, he did both.

This should be seen by all parents so that they understand just how these vermin operate.  You should never allow strangers to watch your children in a store and should keep them close to you during the entire time.  Children who get bored are easily drawn away with offers of toys or candy from a stranger, especially if a parent allows that person to “help.”
