Virginia GOP To Sue Clinton’s Bag Man McAuliffe Over Illegal Executive Order (EO)

Gov Terry McAuliffe, the shady bag man for the Clintons who somehow got very wealthy working for companies that went bankrupt like Global Crossing, recently issued an EO that would allow 200,000 convicted felons to vote for future inmate Hillary Clinton.

Majority Leader Thomas Norment issued the following statement:

“Governor McAuliffe’s flagrant disregard for the Constitution of Virginia and the rule of law must not go unchecked.”

McAuliffe tried to explain that Virginia could never reach it’s full potential until rapists and murderers get the vote:

“VA cannot achieve its full potential until all men and women are eligible for this fundamental right.”

Virginia House Speaker William Howell said:

“It is the obligation of the legislative and judicial branches to serve as a check on overreaches of executive power. To that end, we are prepared to uphold the Constitution of Virginia and the rule of law by challenging Governor McAuliffe’s order in court.”

McAuliffe’s order resembles Obama’s illegal Obamanesty plan. Both rely on a law meant for individual cases and expanding it to cover everyone, which is against the spirit of the law as well as the letter of the law.  It should be noted that the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has put a hold on Obamanesty, pending review by the Supreme Court.

The republicans have hired    Charles Cooper, a former assistant attorney general under President Ronald Reagan.  No date has been set for the filing of the lawsuit.  The governor’s office offered no comment on the development.
