Woman Arrested After Leaving Her 9yo Half Brother Home Alone And Returns To A Scene Of Carnage [VIDEO]

I never thought at 24 I’d be adopting my 9-year-old brother, but you roll with the punches.”That was how Alexandria Griffin-Heady reportedly recently described her journey toward adopting her 9-year-old half-brother. Now, she may be facing criminal charges of child endangerment.

Griffin-Heady, 24, knew her brother had been bouncing through the foster care system in California ever since their mother died in 2011. She also had three pit-bull mixes — one mother and two of her pups — which she had raised from infancy. She lived with the dogs in a travel trailer in rural Yuba County, near the people who had adopted two of her other siblings.

Griffin-Heady had lobbied Sacramento County Child Protective Services for permission to let her 9-year-old half-brother Tyler Griffin-Huston stay with her overnight on weekends. She finally gained that permission, and all appeared to be going well.

The dogs were seized by animal control, and will most likely be euthanized.

Yuba County Undersheriff Jerry Read told reporters that the investigation is ongoing, and they have not yet ruled out criminal charges against Griffin-Heady.

Ultimately no charges were filed against her but both dogs were put down. You can see the full update Below:
