You’ll Never Believe Why This Basketball Team Was Kicked Out of the League

B Ball

I have seen dozens of teams got tossed out by their leagues, but never have I seen such a PC inspired debacle as this.  You see, the Rogers Area Youth Basketball Association (RAYBA), were kicked out of the league because they were too good.  Allegedly, three teams threatened to forfeit their games with the Rogers Area Youth Basketball Association (RAYBA) or they would simply leave the league.  RAYBA was then notified that they were being thrown out of the league.

The girls have won three straight and were about to play in a highly recognized tourney when they got the news.  Needless to say, they are angry, and why not?  No one should be punished for working hard and being successful.

One angry mother asked:

“Do we take the (NFL’s) Patriots or Cardinals, who are going to the championship game, and kick them to the curb because they’re too good?”

Ironically, those very two teams were kicked out yesterday…………..for not being good enough.

Political correctness has taken over the entire sporting world.  Our soccer teams don’t keep score, so that the losers aren’t scarred for life.  The Washington Redskins are harassed for not changing their name.  Now, you are not allowed to play if you are too good.  Our college age kids need safe spaces and trigger warnings.  I remember when I started playing baseball in Little League.  (Yes, I knew Abner Doubleday, but I didn’t like him)

My little league coach was Hick Quinn.  This was back in the day when everyone didn’t have to play.  If you were the best, you would play until the moment you weren’t the best.  It made the players on the bench work harder and to improve their game.  It helped the better players because they couldn’t afford let up.  They too worked and got better.

Life is like that.  You need to keep working and improving or you wither and die.  Today’s kids are totally unprepared for the real world.
