A bomb was discovered on Broad Street in Nashua New Hampshire earlier on Sunday and the bomb squad was called and they were able to successfully neutralize the explosive device. The origin of the bomb is not yet known.

The explosives were disposed of safely by the Nashua Bomb Squad, police said in a statement. Broad Street has reopened to traffic.

Nashua, NH — The Nashua Bomb Squad was deployed to Broad Street Sunday afternoon after explosives were discovered.
Nashua police reported the incident at about 4 p.m.
Police said part of Broad Street will be closed for “at least” 3-4 hours as experts dispose of the explosives safely.
