Now, where is that 1.2 trillion dollars?  I know it was right here just a minute ago.  Maybe Obama left it in his golf pants.

It has been discovered that in 2015, the government cannot account for 1.2 trillion dollars in tax expenditures.(TE)   Tax expenditures are taxes the government forgoes in an effort to accomplish the goals of various government agencies.  In fiscal 2015 Obama’s administration can account for 31.5 billion in expenditures but cannot account for 1.2 trillion in TE.

This is something Obama is noted for.  They do not keep track so that future administrations can’t find the corruption this one participated in.  Take illegal immigration for an example.  They do not keep records on how many they allow into the country or where they settle them, making it impossible to find and deport them later.  Future administrations will not be able to know where the 1.2 trillion went, even as Obama builds the most expensive presidential library ever.

The report found the lack of oversight could have a direct effect on the American taxpayer.

“The revenue the federal government forgoes from tax expenditures reduces the tax base and requires higher tax rates to raise any given amount of revenue,” it reads. “In addition, tax expenditures, like any federal program spending, reduce the amount of funding available for other federal activities, increase the budget deficit, or reduce any budget surplus.”

The GAO said to alleviate the problem, the secretary of the Treasury needs to work more closely to agencies to identify how the funds are being spent.

How many Obama donors do you suppose benefited from those TE and how much are they expected to kick back to Obama and the democrats?  The total budget for 2015 was 3.9 trillion dollars and the deficit was 439 billion dollars.

I think we’d better check out those golf pants.
