The Biden Administration never seems to get anything right. Biden recklessly spent $800,000 in Texas on a “Harm Reduction” program. Addicts are offered free crack pipes to help them continue their addiction.

Since last year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has distributed “smoke kits.”

The Dallas Express reported:

The Biden administration’s “harm reduction” program funds a Texas organization that distributes crack pipes, possibly violating state law, according to an investigation by The Dallas Express.

Since last year, the El Paso Alliance has received nearly $800,000 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of the nation’s first federal harm reduction program. The group distributes “smoke kits” to drug addicts and told a reporter from The Dallas Express that such kits include a “small, cylinder glass.”

The distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia in Texas is banned under Health and Safety Code 481.002(17).

“A person commits an offense if the person knowingly or intentionally uses or possesses with intent to use drug paraphernalia … to inject, ingest, inhale, or otherwise introduce into the human body a controlled substance in violation of this chapter,” the law reads.

So, despite the fact that Texas law prohibits the possession of drug paraphernalia, the Biden Administration continues to distribute these kits to addicts. Instead of getting addicts the support they need to get clean, they provide them free and clean pipes to smoke themselves into unconsciousness. Typical Marxist solutions aimed at keeping people in their vice.

The El Paso Alliance, the beneficiary of these federal monies, has not commented on whether or not the cash will be used for smoke kits.

Furthermore, the El Paso Police Department declined to comment on whether they are making exceptions to the legislation for the El Paso Alliance.

When the episode first aired in early 2022, various news outlets in the mainstream media flocked to the Biden Regime’s support.

Jen Psaki even termed it a “Conspiracy Theory.”

The Washington Free Beacon requested “safe smoking kits” financed by the Biden Regime’s harm reduction grant program in five separate cities.

The Biden Administration has frequently denied that free crack pipes are included in smoking kits.

Psaki earlier stated that crack pipes were ‘never part of the equipment’ and blamed the situation on ‘inaccurate reporting.’

The Free Beacon got five harm reduction kits, all of which featured crack pipes, from harm reduction organizations.

The findings of the Free Beacon not only reveal Psaki is a liar, but they also contradict the claims of left-wing ‘fact-checkers’ who claimed crack pipes were not included in the kits.
