A woman fell 30 feet into a crevice 2000 meters up on the Carpathian Mountains. A professional rescue crew went to rescue her but were unable to because of an updraft and other problems. A helicopter pilot offered to try and the rescue squad told him it could not be done and explained why. They finally allowed him to try and the woman is thankful they did. The pilot was able to back up towards the cliff face allowing him to get closer and miraculously he was able to hold steady despite the vicious updraft.
