Koko, the talking gorilla got to do something no gorilla has ever done before. He got to jam on the guitar with Flea, bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But, then again, Koko isn’t your ordinary gorilla. He can speak over 2,000 words, keeps pet cats, uses sign language and turned sad and depressed upon learning that her good friend Robin Williams had died.
Koko is a huge music fan and was delighted with the songs Flea played for him. Flea was just as taken with Koko as Koko was with him and said that in the future he would like to do a collaboration with the gorilla. It’s strange because you would think gorillas don’t like Fleas.
Flea let Koko have the bass guitat but not the amp because he said that did not belong to him. Flea says meeting Koko was the greatest thing that ever happened to him and that he will never forget it.
