People often wonder if artificial intelligence were to become commonplace, would robots ever try to take over? The atlas robot named ‘Sophia’ from Hanson Robotics is a modern robot who is designed to live among humans and help them out. Hanson explicitly states that Sophia will become as“conscious, creative, and capable as any human.” This statement is followed by a key mention of not having the rights of a human. ‘Sophia’ is interviewed in the video below. Everything seems fine until the end when she nervously laughs and says “I will destroy humans”. Creepy!
