What’s To Become Of Poor Tashfeen?! NO-ONE Cares Enough About Her To Give Her A Proper Muslim Burial
While burying Sayed wasn’t a problem, poor Tashfeen doesn’t seem to have anyone who really gives a rip about her. It’s a big deal for muslims to be buried according to their religious guidelines. Sayed’s family is making sure he meets his maker in official muslim tradition, but Tashfeen, well, not so much.
While the body of terrorist Syed Farook will be claimed by his family, and likely given a proper Islamic funeral, no one wants to take on the responsibility of laying Farook’s wife and fellow terrorist Tashfeen Malik to rest.
According to Fox News:
“Local political and religious leaders have been trying to get someone to agree to perform a burial for Malik in adherence with Islamic tradition, but so far no one wants to take on the controversial duties…community and mosque leaders are treating her corpse like a hot potato…
If no one steps up, she will likely be cremated at taxpayers’ expense, a fate forbidden by Islamic law for even the most reviled radical killers.”
Fox quotes Daniel Akbari, an Iranian attorney with specific understanding of Sharia:
“Since it is obligatory to bury a Muslim’s dead body, many Islamic institutions will probably be willing to do the burial. Some might be cautious and wait to see if others do the job. But what is certain is that Farook and his wife will be buried in an Islamic way.”
But as President Obama himself said: “ISIL is not Islamic. No religion condones the killing of innocents.”
And because Tashfeen Malik proclaimed her allegiance to ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi prior to the San Bernardino attack, she is not a Muslim, and therefore doesn’t need to be buried per Islamic tradition.
According to The Blaze, attorney David Whol said the state is unlikely to care about an Islamic burial because Malik was “a terrorist.”
Between the two of them, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik murdered 14, and injured 22, in what’s been called the worst radical Islamic terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11.
