High School students from Valley High School in Des Moines, Iowa, decided to ditch their typical school colors over the weekend, donning red white and blue as a way to patriotically cheer on their basketball team who was playing a local rival school.

The beautiful patriotic display is something that every American should’ve celebrated, but because many of the players on the opposing team came from refugee families, local idiots immediately began losing their minds over what the high school students did, immediately labeling the sea of red white and blue in the auditorium as “racist.” Outraged local liberals immediately began to spew their insane rhetoric over Facebook, with one parent, in particular, getting extremely triggered during the game.

“This is an example of BLATANT racism,” said Ty Leggett, a Valley High School alum, on the Valley High School – WDMCS Facebook page. “ALL participating should have been pulled and banned from ALL VHS extracurricular events for the remainder of the year! As a parent, I’d be mortified that my son or daughter thought this way, acted in this fashion and refrained from taking a stand against this 21st century inexcusable behavior!”

While it’s perplexing to most as why wearing your nation’s colors would be considered an act of “racism,” that didn’t stop one mother by the name of Erin Ness Carter from doubling down on the political correctness insanity, pulling out startling and wild accusations out of her ass about the high school students:

“For the supporters of one team from a primarily white part of town to paint themselves as the ‘team of the USA’ it strongly implies that the other team, the less white team, is less American,” Carter whined.

Thankfully, other individuals defended the Valley High students, proving that there are people in Iowa who still possess half a functioning brain.

“Now we can’t wear USA stuff without making someone upset?” asked Melissa Fraas-Bader, another Valley High alum. “Oh please….”

What’s even more alarming, is that the high school students were then told they had to apologize, with faculty sending out a mass public apology on their behalf:

To the Students and Staff of North High School:

It has been brought to our attention that the decision by the Valley High School student section to wear U.S.A. apparel at our game last night was offensive to members of your community and fan base. We are deeply sorry if we have offended anyone in any way. We have traditionally dressed in such a fashion for great games such as the one last night. Everyone here at Valley has immense respect not only for your team and players but for your community as a whole. Please know that our intent was in no way to offend or demean—just to support our own team in a way we have done before.

If liberals even had a freaking clue about America’s history, they would realize that our flag’s colors represent people from all races and walks of life. But if immigrants living here illegally on the taxpayer’s dime are truly this offended by an American flag, they should get the HELL out of our country!
