In the case of the Syrian Refugee, so called “migrant crisis,” the super wealthy Gulf nations of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain have refused to offer sanctuary to a single refugee. Gulf nations argue that accepting large numbers of Syrian refugees is a serious threat to the safety of its citizens because terrorists could hide themselves among civilians. To read this is to make a person stare and blink. Muslims won’t even take in their own, but the West opens it’s doors with no hesitation. What fools leadership in the West is to the migrant situation.
More than four million Syrians have been forced to escape the never-ending civil war ravaging their country and the barbaric terror group carving a bloody trail across the Middle East.
The vast majority live in overcrowded refugee camps in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq – all under threat from ISIS – and record numbers are making the perilously long journey to Europe.
The records of Gulf countries is absolutely appalling, in terms of actually showing compassion and sharing the responsibility of this crisis, is a disgrace. And since the West is under the thumbs of the oil producing countries, and we can assume monies are changing hands by the suit case load, nothing is going to be done for the refugees ,who should be staying in the Middle East, in a place they know best. What do you think?
