Little bit of a backlash this past week on the part of students thinking the Clinton’s are just like them. To think you can sit in a room with Chelsea Clinton and listen to her words of wisdom for a mere $500! Now if you knew that event was taking place near a college near you, would you not rush to the event and put your food money for a month down to listen? So would I.
According to ChicksontheRight:
The Hillary Clinton campaign held a super fun “Conversation with Chelsea” event at Penn State University Wednesday. And look. The Clintons understand that college students aren’t made of money, so they decided to charge students $500 to attend the event. A student could also get a picture with Chelsea for a small donation of $1,000 and could get access to the reception for $2,700.Talk about a deal! So $500 bare minimum. I mean, $500 is nothing to a broke college student, right?
So if you think for one minute you are most on the Clinton’s mind, you are surely mistaken. Power and money is all that matters, and your vote is what they need to achieve. Young millennials are the perfect vote to manipulate, little minds still thinking like idealists, easy to persuade with a smile and a few comforting words. But some are waking up yo the world, there is reason for hope. Events like this are being brushed aside in areas. The stench of hypocrisy is is getting a bit ripe in many a nostril, and just maybe the times they are a changing. What do you think?
