Face masks offer more protection than guns, B-list Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano claimed on Twitter Monday evening.
In an idiotic hot take that was panned on social media, the former Charmed actress equated people who refuse to wear face masks with people who support the Second Amendment.
“Anti-maskers are the same people who think they need an AR-15 for ‘protection’,” Milano tweeted.

At least one Twitter user (allowed by Milano to comment on her thread) called out her false equivalence.

Milano is such a fool. The science and the doctors will tell you that the masks don’t do anything to protect you or anyone else. The virus is smaller than the spaces in the mask material. Masks are another way for politicians to bully citizens.
