One would think that the president of the United States would want to do everything they could to protect the nation’s borders, but that only works when the president loves the nation he leads.
It is quite clear that Joe Biden and his administration do not care at all for the American people or protecting our nation, and that was just confirmed by this border patrol chief.
Ok, let me back up a moment so we can set the stage properly for what is occurring now.
If you remember, in September, “king” Biden decreed that all federal employees MUST be vaccinated COMPLETELY by November 22 or they would be at risk to be fired.
It was required that all agents enter their vaccination status in an internal database portal, where they could also seek an exemption based on one of the numerous exemption criteria.
However, as of November 17, Fox News reported that 79% of the Border Patrol’s 21,393 workers were vaccinated.
One would think that would be good enough and that if the other 21% would like to decline the jab they would be able to do so. After all, this is America, right?
Wrong!
Now, a top Customs and Border Protection officer recently said that “counseling letters” had been delivered to personnel who have refused to get the vaccination, putting them “on notice.”
Fox News reports that a group of 62 Republicans reject the requirement and are asking that Biden maintain the agents in their employment.
According to Fox News, a Border Patrol agent and life member of the National Rifle Association wants to meet with President Joe Biden to demonstrate how the vaccination requirement for Border Patrol personnel would erode national security if the agents are fired.
“The federal government is requiring me to submit to a forced vaccine or risk losing their livelihood, which provides food for my family. That is my ostensible decision. However, this is not only about me. The problem at the border is much worse than you might think. And if hundreds, if not thousands, of Border Patrol employees are dismissed, every American, including my own family here in the Rio Grande Valley, would suffer “Roy Cantu, a 13-year Border Patrol agent, said in a video distributed by the NRA.
Cantu characterized the demand as a “political gimmick,” adding that until the border is secured, “every state” risks becoming “a border state with illegal aliens committing violent crimes.”
