The gas prices are soaring in America, and Joe Biden is placing the blame squarely on Russia.
Of course, he would do that.
It makes sense for him to blame someone else for the rising energy crisis instead of himself.
The majority of the American people can see that this is just a lie from the Biden team, but that hasn’t stopped them from saying it.

The gas prices under the Trump administration were at al an all-time low, and practically the second Biden took office they crept up, thanks to him canceling President Trump’s wildly successful energy policy.
If you remember, one of the very first things that Biden did when he got into the office of president stopped the Keystone Pipeline and limit drilling on federal land.
Our nation went from nearly 100 percent energy independence to begging commies and terrorists for oil.
That is a fact and there is no other way around it, but good ‘ole Joe wants to blame rising gas prices entirely on Russia, which is far from the truth.
So, Ted Cruz put him on blast with three key facts that blow a major hole in Bumbling Joe’s argument.
Here’s what Ted said: “This is a flat-out lie. Gas prices have increased 48% under Biden—BEFORE RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE. Biden did that. That’s bc Biden: – killed Keystone pipeline. – froze federal leases. – shut down ANWR All, while Biden waived sanctions on Putin’s pipeline.”

It’s hard to argue with those facts, especially the one about Biden waiving the sanctions on Putin’s pipeline, which even further undercuts his argument.
Here’s how he was fighting to save this pipeline back in January of this year:
President Biden’s national security team worked hard this week to defeat a GOP congressional effort to sanction a Russian-German energy project that will strengthen the hand of Russian President Vladimir Putin and weaken Ukraine at the worst possible time. This is only the latest in a series of moves that show how the Biden administration’s actions are actually working to save the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, even though Biden’s officials publicly claim to oppose it.
As early as Wednesday afternoon, the Senate will vote on a bill by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) that would mandate U.S. sanctions on the company that owns and hopes to soon operate Nord Stream 2 — also known around Capitol Hill as the “the Molotov-Ribbentrop pipeline,” a derogatory reference to the 1939 nonaggression pact between Germany and the Soviet Union. The analogy is imperfect, but it does highlight what’s at stake if the pipeline comes into operation. Germany’s new chancellor, Olaf Scholz, is ill-advisedly calling for a “new beginning” with Russia that includes moving forward with the pipeline at the exact moment Putin is poised to re-invade Ukraine.

So why was Biden so willing to work with Russia only a few months ago, knowing it would strengthen their cause to invade Ukraine, then do a complete about-face when it actually came to pass?
It’s hard to know exactly what his motives are; after all, it’s Joe Biden we’re talking about… he doesn’t even know what day of the week it is.
