What does it say about the United States — or its president — when the presence of an ambulance in the White House driveway sparks so much debate on social media?
According to The Drive, the president was on his way to Camp David for Easter weekend, and because he was traveling, an ambulance should be expected to be present, as it is a “constant feature” of the presidential motorcade.
So, when The Daily Caller’s White House correspondent, Diana Glebova, tweeted a photo of an ambulance approaching 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the reaction should have been crickets.

Granted, the majority of the responses and retweets appeared to be tongue-in-cheek, with almost all of them coming from conservatives, libertarians, and supporters of former President Donald Trump — but it says something about President Joe Biden’s success, or lack thereof, who campaigned with unity as “a focus of [his] campaign” and then “made lots of appeals to unity in his inaugural address,” according to NPR.

According to Biden’s official schedule, the president was scheduled to travel for Fort McNair for his flight to Camp David later that afternoon. However, the best explanation was not always what the Twitterverse was seeking for. (Pro tip: It almost never is.)

Biden has hardly unified the nation (not that Trump or former President Barack Obama did any better), but praying for those in authority should be one concept all Americans can agree on.
