A liberal radio broadcaster is being chastised online for demonstrating how out of touch he is with current American culture.
According to Breitbart, Howard Stern slammed black NBA players on Friday during the broadcast of his show for showing no interest in coming over to chat with him but taking the time to talk to other celebrities, implying that they dislike him because he is not black.
“When I, you know, I have courtside, they put me courtside, and the Black players won’t come over and say hello to me, but they go over to Spike Lee,” Stern said about his recent experience at a New York Knicks Game.
However, Stern also stated that Lee is not the only black star in which the players are interested, admitting that they also enjoy speaking with celebs such as Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan.
“I’ll be sitting next to Tracy Morgan or Chris Rock. You know, they seat you where they seat you. And a lot of times when I’m there, I’m next to Tracy Morgan, who is so funny. And he’s sitting there and like, couple of the players will come over,” he said. “They, like, give him that bro shake and stuff. And I’m like — these guys should hug me, too.”
Stern said that he “grew up in a black neighborhood,” referring to his Long Island childhood home.

But it was what he said next that really got folks going, implying that the black guys’ lack of interest in him had a racial component. Stern even expressed optimism that it was a racial matter because that would imply that they did not dislike his personality.
“Maybe they don’t like me. I don’t know. I’d like to think it’s a White thing, not my personality. I hope it’s racial. That’s all,” he said.
It takes a staggering amount of arrogance to believe that you are entitled to these basketball stars’ attention simply because you are a prominent radio personality.
It’s possible that the basketball players truly care more about Spike Lee or Chris Rock. It’s possible that they don’t even despise Howard Stern.
People on Twitter have quickly pointed out that Stern is playing the race card on the black players despite a video of him in blackface, portraying a racist caricature of black people, and uttering the N-word.

Howard Stern demonstrates how out of touch he is with American society. He believes he can persuade others by adopting a reverse racial grievance narrative, despite the fact that there is no proof of this.
If these black players have seen Howard Stern’s insulting films, it is logical that they would refuse to work with him.
He appears to be unable to grasp the concept that someone can detest him as a person or simply be uninterested in him, so he decides to play the race card.
It’s disgusting that Stern believes black athletes are racist just because they refuse to talk to him.
