They spoke almost no English. The article rightly asks where they got the money for this purchase. I’d also like to know the reasoning for choosing that Walmart and that date and time for the purchase. The police came and detained them for questioning. Since they had done nothing wrong legally, they were released. This has been reported to the FBI. I hope they are following and watching these guys now. So much for see something, say something.
Employees at a rural Missouri Walmart were alarmed when some male Muslim migrants stormed their store at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Saturday morning, swiftly buying up a massive stock of one concerning item. The unusual purchase immediately set off alerts, bringing a swarm of police officers to the location for legitimate reason.
The store, located in the small town of Lebanon, isn’t used to seeing such a strange purchase at once. Store management wasn’t afraid to profile the purchasers for the items they were buying, and it’s a good thing they reported it. According to Laclede County sheriff Wayne Merritt, his department was quickly called to the store in the early morning hours, when two middle eastern men came into the store and purchased 60 disposable cell phones in one single purchase. Employees were concerned because the men spoke little to no English and had never been seen in that small town store before, in addition to other visual indicators that didn’t sit well with workers.
