The rotting bodies of several hogs, goats, and chickens have washed ashore from the Gulf of Mexico on a Biloxi, Mississippi beach. The cause for this disturbing occurance remains unknown.
According to WDSU News,
Dead farm animals are washing ashore on a Mississippi beach and a local police chief said he’s at a loss to explain why they’re floating in from the Gulf of Mexico.
Multiple local media outlets report Friday that two goats, a hog and about a half dozen chickens have washed ashore in Biloxi since Monday.
Police Chief John Miller said the bodies are badly decomposed and there’s nothing to indicate animal cruelty.
He said it’s possible they drowned during flooding in Louisiana “and floated over here.”
A county cleanup crew helped remove the carcasses.
Could these farm animals be from an illegal boat off shore or is there a more sinister reason for this odd phenomenon?
