Georgia Man Arrested For Brutally Beating, Stabbing 73-Year-Old Woman In Senior Center

Residents at an assisted living center may rest easier after police arrested a man who allegedly stabbed and beat a 73-year-old woman.

Gregory Andre Stillwell, 36, was charged Friday with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, burglary and armed robbery, according to a release from the McDonough Police Department.

He was arrested at his McDonough, Georgia, home.

The attack happened about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Grier Manor Senior Living Center.

The man asked the resident if he could use her phone and, once inside her unit, attacked her.

Maj. Kyle Helgerson told WSB-TV the victim “was stabbed multiple times and beaten.”

The victim was taken to a local hospital and was in listed stable condition Friday afternoon, according to the release.

Stillwell was in the Henry County Jail without bond Friday afternoon.

He is due in court May 2.
