A woman gave a restaurant a bad review, claiming she was overcharged fort drinks. The restaurant, Nick’s Riverside Grill in Georgetown, decided that her review needed some clarification. It seems that the woman had pooped her pants in the restaurant and didn’t bother to go to the bathroom for any clean up. The stench got so bad that patrons coming into the restaurant were routed away from the woman who continued to sit there in her mess.
Later, she gave the restaurant a terrible review, which could be because she was so embarrassed after paramedics arrived to assist her. She signed a waiver, saying that she was refusing their services. She then goes to the bathroom and throws her badly soiled panties in the garbage can, which the night manager was forced to clean up. I am not going to say the woman was drunk, but I would find it odd if a sober woman would have acted in that situation.
The owner of the restaurant says that he approved of the reply made by an assistant manager known only as Liz S, the name she used to reply to the Yelp review. Here is the complete reply:
“Out of compassion and being decent human beings we did not charge you a waste removal fee. We were trying not to cause anymore embarrassment or humiliation to you. The fact of the matter is you lost control of your bowels in the middle of our restaurant, and you proceeded to sit in it for the remainder of the evening, making more of a mess.”
The restaurant then offered to refund all of her money from that night with the provision that she never comes to the restaurant again until she receives potty training.
I must say, this was one of the most interesting stories I have written in a very long time.
