The new Defeat Crooked Hillary PAC has released their first ad, chronicling how Hillary enriched herself as Secretary of State and with Wall Street firms. The PAC which was launched by GOP mega-donor Robert Mercer is called, “Gotta Pay the Bills.” The ad begins by mocking Hillary’s statement that she and Bill were broke when they left the White House. It then goes into details about how Hillary enriched herself during her tenure as Secretary of State. It ends with Bill Clinton stating that he will continue to give speeches netting nearly a quarter of a million each during the primaries because he needs to pay the bills.
“The Clintons are worth $200 million, earning $140 million since 2007 — much of it during Hillary Clinton’s tenure of Secretary of State starting in 2009. Where did they get this money? What favors did they grant? What access did they sell?”
