Religion of Peace Group Mocks Failure to Pass Gun Control..Prefers Unarmed Victims For Terror Attacks

Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) is now mocking congress for not passing gun control.  MPAC which has ties to Huma Abedin is pushing for gun control, fearing that their terrorists could show up for mass murder and have the attack cut short by a good guy or gal with a gun.  They are trying to intimidate members of congress by calling them cowards, a policy which accurately describes democrats but is largely ignored by republicans.  Gun control has never been a winning issue in elections within the United States, but the democrats are trying it one last time out of desperation.

MPAC singled out the Senate for special scorn for upholding Due Process and suggested they add all kinds of additional groups of people  National Instant Criminal Background Checks System (NICS).  The more the merrier to their point of view, since they have easy access to guns they can smuggle across our southern border, thanks to their friend in the White House.  MPAC partnered with the White House recently and pay special attention to who joined them, Huma Abedin:

Panelists included Dr. Hina Chaudhry who was featured in Esquire magazine for her work in making new heart cells as a remedy for cardiac arrest; Maria Ebrahimji, editorial producer for CNN; and Huma Abedin, Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff. Speakers from the White House included Joanna Rosholm, Press Secretary for the First Lady and Bess Evans, Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of Public Engagement. MPAC’s Hoda Elshishtawy and Haris Tarin led the discussion in two panels.

The first session was moderated by Hoda Elshishtawy and featured Huma Abedin, Rumana Ahmed from the White House Office of Public Engagement, Rashad Hussain from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Avra Siegel from the White House Council on Women and Girls, and Joanna Rosholm, Press Secretary to the First Lady. Their discussion elaborated on wide-ranging contributions of American Muslim women, shedding light on what would be discussed in further detail during the breakout sessions

From The Investigative Project on Terrorism:

Far from being the zealous champion of civil rights that it presents itself to be, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) has followed a consistent pattern of defending designated terrorist organizations and their supporters, opposing U.S. counterterrorism efforts and spouting anti-Semitic rhetoric.

One example of that close connection was The Minaret, a now-defunct monthly magazine affiliated with the ICSC. Many MPAC officials worked simultaneously with The Minaret itself until it ceased publication in 2005.

Articles and editorials in the magazine, including those by MPAC members, downplayed the threat posed by Islamic extremists, served up inflammatory rhetoric about Jews and Zionism, and repeated conspiracy theories about both the 1993 and September 11, 2001 World Trade Center bombings.

MPAC’s public advocacy often involves defending accused terror financiers and opposing law enforcement efforts to root out terrorists and their enablers.

In nearly every case, MPAC has responded to investigations by the FBI and the U.S. Treasury Department with complaints that authorities have not proven their allegations, and variations on the constant themes that enforcement actions unfairly single out Muslim groups and “bear strong signs of politicization.”

Sure, we want them to decide which law abiding citizens can own guns.
