FBI Director James Comey has announced that he will not recommend any charges against Hillary Clinton despite that the fact that they admitted finding numerous emails that had been received top secret emails that were marked (3) and many others that Hillary should have known were classified. He admitted that storing and receiving these emails in a careless way is unlawful, in the end he said because he could not find intentional mishandling of emails, he would not recommend charges against anyone.
Even though his information was damning towards Clinton and the mishandling of emails, yet he found no grounds for prosecution. Those two statements are directly polar opposites. I wonder what his cut of Lynch’s payoff is.
Comey said that down the road someone to be prosecuted for committing the same actions that Hillary did, could be charged and prosecuted down the road. Does that seem a little funny to you? Hillary won’t be charged but someone in the future doing exactly what Clinton did would be prosecuted. Seven email chains were top secret and in his own statement, he said they were mishandled, which is a violation of the Espionage Act, but then he said because it wasn’t intentional, which isn’t what the law states.
Comey also said that although they found no proof that foreign governments accessed her emails, he admitted that because of the lax security, it’s likely that they were hacked. That is the heart of the espionage act. Allowing classified emails falling into enemy’s hands, whether intentional or unintentional is a violation of US law.
The FBI found 58 email chains that contained classified information . There were other emails and email chains that both Clinton and her aides should have known were classified in nature.
It should also be noted that Obama’s Injustice Department have successfully prosecuted people who have done much less. The DOJ could still bring charges and if you just landed here from another planet, you might believe they could but I’m betting the offer Bill Clinton made to Loretta Lynch was large enough to assure that will never happen.
This is a huge miscarriage of justice, but not surprising. Days ago, I wrote a column in which I predicted Hillary would face no charges.
