Max Bromson was suffering from terminal cancer when he decided to choose his own time to die in 2014. Authorities had been investigating his death because the practice is illegal in Australia. The family has now released the video a family member took of the day he drank Nembutal. A family member can be heard saying, “I love you, mate.” Australian legislators are now exploring the possibility of legalizing the practice. This video was released in order to advocate for the law.
