I take polls with a grain of salt, but in this instance this is an interesting series of questions and results. There is much hypocrisy involved it is amusing. For instance, It found that 74 per cent of Americans accept Trump’s election as fair .Among Clinton fans, only 58 per cent accept Trump’s win as legitimate. However, 99 per cent of Trump supporters view his victory as legitimate.
A third of Hillary Clinton supporters believe Donald Trump’s election victory was not legitimate, a new poll has found. The Washington Post-ABC News survey was conducted in the immediate wake of Trump’s win as protests erupted in several cities, including New York, Miami, Portland, Oregon, and Indianapolis.
The poll, which questioned a random sample of 865 adults between November 9 and 11, found that 74 per cent of Americans accept Trump’s election as legitimate – but 18 per cent do not.
Trump said towards the end of his presidential campaign that he may not accept the results of the election if his opponent triumphed. His concern for the rigged voting and intimidation factor being his concern. Hillary Clinton called out Donald Trump on this, and he took some heat. But most Democrats live their lives by the motto, “Do as I say, not as I do.” Now the opposite after the election and the Democrats are on screaming foul. Laughable.
Donald Trump acquired the necessary number of votes in the electoral college – 290 to Clinton’s 228 (with Michigan and New Hampshire yet to be called) – Clinton is reported to be winning the popular vote by at least 600,000 as of Sunday morning, but I tend to think differently.
