Wednesday night was the premiere of the 11th season of Duck Dynasty. In those eleven years, they have built up a huge following of loyal fans. They have come to know the entire family, their likes, their dislikes, their politics, their religion and just about everything you would know about longtime friends. For the past five years they had come into the homes of their fans and shared the good times and the bad times. Now, that has come to an end. The DD gang announced that through a mutual agreement with A&E, this will be the last season of the show.
From IJR:
The show that put the Robertson family in the spotlight started up in March of 2012. Viewers flocked to the series, giving it the title of the most-watched nonfiction cable TV series in history.
Controversial comments made by Phil Robertson to GQ involving African Americans and anti-gay statements didn’t even slow the show down. He was suspended by A&E, but the series rolled on.
The good news for fans is that the Robertsons still have time to entertain with the new season.
