Wagner de Lima Figueiredo, 34, a professional cowboy that won several contests while riding upon his best friend, Sereno was killed in a tragic motorbike accident. The decision to allow his horse to travel with the funeral procession was made because of the unusually close relationship horse and owner shared. During the entire procession, Sereno whinnied and stomped his feet.
But perhaps the most heartbreaking moment was when Sereno laid his head on his master’s coffin and wailed and appeared to cry.
