Woman Stabs Boyfriend After She Finds Out What He Did With An Easter Ham

28-year-old Kareese Rebecca Raven was arrested by The Pennsylvania State Police Patrol Unit Troop-G Rockview after being accused of assaulting 52-year-old Gregory Thomas because of an argument over an Easter ham.

According to the police investigation, Raven and Thomas have been together for more than 3 years. On Saturday afternoon, an argument broke out in the kitchen of the home over how to cook ham. The young woman allegedly flew into a ham rage after her elderly boyfriend did not cook ham the way she liked.

Police said that after arguing in the kitchen of the house they share, Greg Serb decided to put the ham in the oven and that’s when Raven pulled out a long knife and began swinging it at him. Thomas managed to get away from Raven, with only a minor cut.

It’s assumed the small laceration on Serb’s chest and deep laceration were a result of the knife, but police said the injuries to Serb’s face came after when Raven then grabbed a ceramic bowl and smashed it in the face of Thomas. As Thomas was running out the door, Raven threw ham and a shoe at him.

Police officers who arrived at the home located in the 100 block of Spruce Road, saw cuts on Thomas and arrested Raven.

Raven has been charged with assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, and simple assault. She was booked into jail, and her bail has been set at $25,000.
