A punk kid breaks into a home, the homeowner is armed, there’s a confrontation, and the homeowner shoots the kid dead. While this is a tragic situation, it is made worse by the kid’s family.
And the attitude of the kid’s family/friends? “Well, how else was he supposed to get money for school clothes?” That is seriously what they said. They said situations like this should be looked at from “all angles.”
You come into my home, with the intention of stealing from or hurting me or my family, you should expect to get shot. It’s really as simple as that.
