Trump says USA doesn't discriminate agst immigrants based on race, sex, class, etc. But we DO discriminate on the basis of whether you live within walking distance.

Anyone on the right listening to Trump's offer of 3 year legal work status for DACA recipients and calling this AMNESTY is a damned fool and part of the problem.

Krikorian doesn’t like it:
The key to this deal will be if Tillis et al. try to trick the White House by replacing simple DACA/TPS extension with Bridge Act (much larger from-scratch DACA-plus amnesty). I don't trust Senate GOPs not to screw it up, but what Trump announced isn't unreasonable.
