Charlotte-Cop-Block-Keith-Scott-Video

The Charlotte Police Department released an audio of the police calling in to say they spotted an armed man rolling a joint and requesting back up.  This is important because this was made before the police confronted Scott and that they knew he was armed or at least suspected he was armed before they approached him.  The audio includes two small snippets of the police calls and the 911 call made afterward.

The shooting led to a week of rioting and looting as black activists insisted he had a book and not a gun  A host at PMSDNC, Joy Reid,  even suggested that the cops planted the gun.  Police have since found out several bits of information that prove that to be a lie.  First, they located the man who had stolen the gun and he confessed to selling the gun to Scott.  A check of his police record showed he was arrested three times on gun charges, including a 2005 incident where Scott had taken shots at the police in San Antonio, Texas.

From The Mail Online:

Police on Saturday shared about three minutes of video capturing the September 20 shooting.

Scott’s family has released a video taken by his wife, who was nearby.

In one of the new audio clips, which lasts about 25 seconds, an officer calls for police backup, saying that he has spotted Scott with a gun and a marijuana joint, the reason police have previously stated for engaging Scott.

An officer said: ‘Roll back to this apartment complex behind you. There was a guy that’s parked next to us that was rolling a joint and had a gun.’
