Susan Rice, who went on multiple Sunday shows to blame Benghazi on a 12 minute internet film even though she knew it was a lie is lecturing Donald Trump on the truth. I can’t remember a recent occasion when I laughed as hard as I did when I read her statement that was then sent throughout the liberal world as serious commentary. Even funnier is that the example she gave was a lie.
Rice said that Trump damaged national security by saying that Obama tapped his campaign. Rep Nunes came out yesterday and said that Obama had acquired surveillance on Trump campaign aides, including phone calls and may very well have taped conversations of Trump’s and then passed it around the administration which is a violation of the Espionage Act and is punishable by 10 years in a federal prison.
Former national security adviser under President Barack Obama, Susan Rice, has written an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she accused Trump of lying to the American people when he said the Obama administration had “wire tapped” his offices at Trump Tower during the election campaign. .
“To lead effectively, the United States must maintain respect and trust. So, when a White House deliberately dissembles and serially contorts the facts, its actions pose a serious risk to America’s global leadership, among friends and adversaries alike,” Rice wrote.
This coming from one of the most dishonest members of the most corrupt administration this country has ever witnessed. It would be funny were it not so tragic.
The weekend after the attack, with Obama’s re-election on the line, Rice went on five Sunday talk shows and claimed that some video on YouTube that criticized the Prophet Muhammad was the real reason for the attacks — despite hard evidence that the administration knew that wasn’t the case long before she opened her mouth.
“Based on the best information we have to date, what our assessment is as of the present, is in fact it began spontaneously in Benghazi, as a reaction to what had transpired hours earlier in Cairo, where of course as you know there was a violent protest outside of our embassy, sparked by this hateful video,” she said in one of her now-infamous interviews, according to The Daily Caller.
That’s as clear a case of the White House lying to the American people as you can get, so Rice really has no business criticizing the Trump administration.
