A football player for Linden High School took the helmet off a Immaculata High School player and hit him with his own gear last Friday night in New Jersey.
The Linden player got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, but was not kicked out of the game. The Immaculata player was taken to a local hospital where he received 10 stitches. The players’ names have not been released.
The Linden Police Department says the incident, which occurred during the second quarter at Linden’s Tiger Stadium, is under investigation by the Juvenile Bureau, notes WABC.
