Tragedy has broke in the Sporting World, as now being reported Miami Marlins Pitcher Jose Fernandez has been killed in a boating accident in Miami this morning.
Fernandez was one of at least three people killed in the early morning collision.
“The Miami Marlins organization is devastated by the tragic loss of Jose Fernandez,” a team statement said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.”
Sunday’s game between the Marlins and the Atlanta Braves was cancelled.
