Can Trump prevent 90,000 Christians killed in 2016 from occurring in 2017?

The horrific worldwide execution of Christians in 2016 were of Biblical proportions which were either ignored or arrogantly dismissed by the previous Obama administration. According to a Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) 2016 report, 90,000 Christian martyrs were targeted via individual or group actions or mass genocidal eradication. Will President Donald Trump answer the Biblical call to defend Christianity when his predecessor allowed these wholesale slaughters to go unanswered?

The mind-numbing numbers do not even begin to measure the torture, anguish and human suffering that is associated with each death.  Imagine a mother, father, small child or a family waiting, watching and wondering when an ISIS executioner or other radical Islamic terrorist will be at the town or village’s edge. Each victim’s last moments are etched into the mind or the next victim.

Barack Obama and the liberal establishment and anti-Christian mainstream media did everything possible to contain, cover up or conceal the mass Christian persecution and deaths.  This was not by accident, but by design.  The Obama State Department and the United Nations has been well aware of the persecution and slaughter of Christians in the Middle East and elsewhere and choose to turn away.

In Africa, where the majority of the genocidal acts of savagery occurred, 70 of the Christians were murdered in tribal fights.  Boko Haram which pledged its allegiance to ISIS has been the leading culprit in this murderous rampage.  According to the report, “The remaining 30 percent of Christians lost their lives in acts of terrorism, destruction of Christian villages and government persecution worldwide.”

Judi Lake, Executive Director of the American Christian Civil Rights Movement (ACCRM) stressed, “It is terribly tragic that former President Obama decided to not stand up for Christianity when it has been clear for over a decade that Christians have been the most persecuted religious organization in the world.”  She added, “President Trump has made it clear on several occasions and in his Inaugural Address that he will not abandon Christianity and even spoke with vigor about our Creator and God’s place in America.”

The ACCRM executive director is correct about the growing eradication threat to Christianity in the birthplace of Christianity.  The CSGC report details how over a ten-year period between 2000-2010 there were 100,000 Christians murdered each year.  That adds up to 1 million followers of Jesus Christ wiped from the face of the earth.

Meanwhile, Obama worried over the eight years of his administration about whether or not calling radical Islamic terrorists would be offended if he or anyone connected to his administration called them out by their name.  Obama went as far as to ban the naming of these violent terrorist killing machines in all press briefings, written documents and official government publications.  In effect, these tyrants of radical Islamic tyranny were emboldened to pillage and murder without restraint or repercussion.

The new sheriff  in town President Trump pledged in his Inaugural speech, to “unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.”

Americans can be guaranteed that there are solid patriots who will be the backup in assisting the new president of action to educate, inform and support his efforts to secure the homeland and protect Christianity.

Melanie Tipton, an award-winning journalist and Executive Producer of the upcoming 2017 Christian film When Angels Weep: Rings of Faith & Fire believes that it is crucial that Christians join President Trump and his effort to restore Christian values and protections to Christianity. “Unlike Obama who was an apologist for the greatness of America and its Christian foundation and principles, President Trump embraces Biblical values.  Christian filmmakers have an opportunity to be the foot soldiers on the nation’s frontline to not only tell the story of the war on Christianity but provide the tools and solutions that will help Christians answer the call to action.”

As Tipton stresses, the tools to combat the growing eradication of Christianity worldwide is now, before it arrives in mass upon America’s shores.  According to Breitbart, the number of nations where the persecution of Christians in escalating. “nine out of the top ten countries where Christians suffer “extreme persecution” have populations that are at least 50% Muslim.”
