The rioters have released a list of demands. Most of them are predictable but a few of the ones I expected didn’t make the list:
- Stores must keep all flat screen TVs and prescription drugs in an easily located spot in the stores.
- Liquor stores cannot use surveillance cameras that could be used to identify looters at a later time.
- Police may only be armed with Nerf guns and carry pom poms in place of clubs.
But many of their demands are equally ridiculous:
One demand in particular I find extremely strange:
The immediate and unconditional release of all those arrested in connection with the uprising resulting from the killing of Keith L Scott and the dropping of all charges. There is no wiggle room in this demand, so I’m assuming that the black man whot shot a black, killing him at the riots must also be released because it came out of a black man killing black man, Keith Scott. So, we are left to assume that all black lives don’t matter?
